Does your tower need ringers for a wedding?
The wedding season is now upon us and, as usual, we will be pleased to post requests here for those towers who are short of ringers and need help. Just send full details (including contact e-mail address or telephone number) to notices@kcacr-maidstone-district.org.uk . Requests sent via the District e-group will normally be posted automatically.
Current requests:
Snodland require ringers for the dates below. Please e-mail Sue Brooks if you are able to help:
This one is a long way off but .........!
Saturday 20th December - 2pm wedding (ringing afterwards only from approx 2.30pm): 3 ringers needed
Mereworth bells restoration
Mereworth bells were removed on Saturday 12th January and transported to Whites of Appleton for refurbishment. The project, which includes work on the tower, is expected to take about a year and there will therefore be no ringing at Mereworth until further notice.

Sunday Service Ringing at Linton
Linton haven’t enough ringers to ring their bells every Sunday so on the first Sunday in each month ringers from around the District help out by providing support. Any help would therefore be gratefully appreciated at St Nicholas, Linton, on Sunday 5th October, ringing at 8.30am for the 9.15am service. Ringing will be from rounds upwards.
